Powerboat Training

Our Locations

We have training centres in two locations – Conwy Marina and Menai Bridge. Both locations have a fully equipped classroom and access to our training boats within a 5-minute walk.

40 High Street, Menai Bridge

Menai Bridge – set on the stunning Isle of Anglesey and the Menai Strait. They say if you can navigate the Menai Strait then it sets you in good stead to tackle any navigational boating challenge! During your powerboat course you’ll see the majestic sights of the area including the iconic bridges and experience the infamous Swellies. Our classroom is in the town itself which is easily reached by taking junction 8A onto the A5 off the A55 at Britannia Bridge. There is parking across the road from the classroom in a public Pay & Display car park. The boats are moored a 5-minute walk from the classroom. If you’re looking for accommodation for the duration of your course you can try Pentir AirBnB or Pilot House, Beaumaris.

Conwy Quays Marina

Conwy – where the strikingly beautiful and rugged mountains of Snowdonia National Park meet the sea. Conwy is an incredibly picturesque location in which to learn powerboating. It is a unique region with regards to boating and you’ll find the local knowledge of our instructors invaluable whether you’re a complete novice or just advancing your skills. Getting here by road is easy; the marina is about 5 minutes off the A55 and it’s only a short drive from the town itself if you’re staying overnight for a course. The marina itself and our classroom are well equipped for running powerboat courses. There are plenty of options for refreshments during the course including the nearby tuckshop or The Mulberry restaurant. There is ample parking at Conwy Marina.
